Celem artykułu jest identyfikacja roli, jaką odgrywa zaufanie w funkcjonowaniu współczesnych przedsiębiorstw oraz omówienie czynników determinujących rozwój i utrzymanie zaufania wśród partnerów relacji. Zaufanie jest kluczem do motywowania ludzi, mobilizowania ich do pracy i osiągania wspólnych celów. Jeżeli ludzie nie ufają sobie, to nie osiągną sukcesu. Wiarygodność przedsiębiorstwa oraz jego produktów stanowi fundament lojalności pracowników i klientów. Zaufanie potrzebuje silnego przywództwa, zaangażowania, otwartej komunikacji i szczerych zachowań opartych na mocnych etycznych podstawach.

The purpose of this article is to identify the role that trust plays in the functioning of modern enterprises and to discuss the factors that determine the development and keeping trust in relationships among partners. Trust is the key to motivating people, mobilizing them to work and achieve common goals. If people do not trust each other, they will not achieve success. The credibility of the company and its products is the foundation of employee and customer loyalty. Trust needs strong leadership, commitment, open communication and honest behavior based on strong ethical principles.
