Aktywność zawodowa kobiet systematycznie w Polsce rośnie. Wynika to z przeobrażeń rynku pracy, zmian preferencji życiowych kobiet, wzrostu poziomu ich wykształcenia czy kapitałowego systemu emerytalnego, w którym zgromadzony kapitał decyduje o przyszłej emeryturze. Poziom aktywności zawodowej kobiet jest w Polsce silnie determinowany przez posiadanie potomstwa. Wraz z liczbą dzieci poziom tego wskaźnika znacząco spada. W przypadku kobiet nieposiadających dzieci w 2014 r. wskaźnik zatrudnienia wyniósł 73,3%, a już w przypadku posiadających troje i więcej dzieci zaledwie 54%. W artykule omówiony zostanie wpływ posiadania dziecka na aktywność zawodową kobiet w świetle teorii ekonomii, badań danych statystycznych oraz wyników raportu Bilans Kapitału Ludzkiego 2015.

The professional activity of women in Poland is growing steadily. This is due to the transformation of the labour market, changes in the preferences of life of women, increase their level of education, whether funded pension system, which determines the accumulated capital of a future retirement. The level of activity of women in Poland is strongly determined by having children. With the number of children, the level of this ratio drops significantly. In the case of women with children in 2014. Employment rate stood at 73.3%, as is already the case with 3 or more children only 54%. This article will discuss the impact of having a child on the professional activity of women in the light of economic theory, research, statistical data and report results Human Capital in 2015.
