Rev. Czyżewicki’s source was published in installments in the “Wiadomości Miejskie” (The Town News) periodical which came out in Przemyśl in the years 1921-1923. It shows tendencies dominating in Polish schools after the First World War: attempts to educate young people through organizing trips to the places connected with Polish material culture, religion and industry, and also enhancing patriotic feelings through teaching love for the monuments of the past and singing patriotic songs. It is also a so-far unused source for local history, showing the significance of Krosno going beyond the town and its region. What is more, The text shows the postwar relations of the Krosno residents with Przemyśl and Kraków – despite the destruction caused by the Great War, which considerably affected the people of Galicia, the Krosno region was an attractive place for tourists from other areas.
Over the centuries, the Capuchin Order has educated many distinguished monks. Among them was also Fr Józef Krzysik (Krzysikiewicz), who lived from 1800 to 1882. He rendered great service for every Capuchin monastery in Po-land he stayed in, including the Krosno community. The chronicles of this monastery proved to be a valuable source, rich in information about Fr Józef. The second volume, which covers the years 1837–1903, reference AKKR 16, entitled Chronoliae Conventus Liber Secundus mentions him three times. The first note can be found on pages 128–131. The author is Rev Karol Fischer, who later became an auxiliary bis-hop of Przemyśl. The second excerpt can be found on page 136v. Its author, however, is unknown. The third note is found on page 137, and its author is Fr Florian Janocha, Capuchin. All notes come from the years 1880–1883.

Zakon oo. Jej autor to ks. Florian Janocha, kapucyn. Wszystkie fragmenty pochodzą z lat 1880–1883.
Town councils in the most important towns of West Galicja operated in accordance with an act from 13th of March 1889, which established the rules for a communal system of 30 towns in Galicja – 11 in West Galicja and 19 in East Galicja. The principles of the workings of the town councils were determined by way of a resolution of session regulations. They determined the way town councils convened, the chairing of meetings, the number of persons needed to adopt a resolution, the drawing up of a protocol and the secrecy of meetings. The main part of session regulations was a description of the rules and order of meetings. The session regulations of Krosno and Rzeszów have been described as an example. The average number of meetings during a year fluctuated between 12 and 19. The schedule of meetings during the year was irregular; in most cases, a majority of meetings fell in the fourth quarter of the year because of adopting a budget - the least being in the third quarter (summer holidays) or in the first. In time, the number of meetings became fewer and attendances of councillors increased. Nevertheless, the problem of discipline and enforcing the duty of participation in meetings was still valid. Non-attendance of meetings and making impossible the adoption of a resolution because of the absence of a quorum were elements of political party rivalry just as were mutual charges of non-compliance of regulations. Meetings usually started at 5–6 in the afternoon and lasted about two hours. Ceremonial meetings followed a different course. Councillors took care of the facilities and interior design of the rooms where meetings took place. The invitation to representatives of the local press and preparation of a separate gallery for them were signs of new times.
Jednak codzienne obowiązki zakonników: wspólna i indywidualna modlitwa, działalność duszpasterska i praca podtrzymująca funkcjonowanie klasztoru ma swoje blaski i codzienności nadaje niezwykłych rumieńców.
