Local communities with their members closely related to each other become the source of individual values and identities on the condition they are well integrated. Their integration is enabled, among else, with various programs implemented by local public and elementary school libraries. Their disintegration results from the migration and transmission of local content, in particular via Internet. If the content is assimilated locally, it leads to the process of glocalization which supports the stabilization and feeling of security. This phenomenon involves the library mediation. Local communities are replaced with task communities, including educational ones, characterized with lower integration level and shorter integration time, but nevertheless producing the feeling of stabilization. This process is further mediated by the libraries of secondary schools and universities.
