Zmiany obserwowane współcześnie pozwalają na konstatacje nie tylko w zakresie rozwoju efektów materialnych procesów gospodarczych, lecz także na polu zarządzania tymi procesami. Interesującą egzemplifikacją tych ostatnich zmian umożliwia spojrzenie na rozwój koncepcji Lean management i Agile management. Jako wspólną płaszczyznę przyjęto aspekt usieciowienia przedsiębiorstw. Przeprowadzone rozważania pozwalają przypuszczać, że rozwój organizacji stosujących koncepcję Agile jest powiązany ze wzrostem znaczenia relacji sieciowych, co z kolei traktować należy jako reakcję na wzrost niepewności w podejmowaniu decyzji. Jednocześnie usieciowienie nie może być rozpatrywane w kategoriach uniwersalnych. Przytoczono dane wskazujące, że konsolidacja aktywów w ramach korporacyjnych nadal odgrywa istotną rolę w procesie budowy przewagi strategicznej.

Changes observed today let statements not only in the range of economic processes material effects, but also on the field of those processes management. The look at Lean management and Agile management concepts improvement allows an interesting exemplification of mentioned changes. As the common basis, the network aspect has been assumed. The presented considerations lead to assumption, the development of organizations using the Agile management concept is connected with building – up network relations. Further, these relations are joined with the decision uncertainty growth. At the other side, network creating processes should not be treated as a universal category. There are data in this article, that the assets consolidation within corporation is still important to strategic advantage creation.

The article presents the research results of empirical studies on the utilization of lean tools in the internal logistics of manufacturing companies in the Polish market. The article consists of two parts. The first theoretical represents the essence and importance of lean management, as well as some of the tools of lean. The second part – the empirical – presents the results of research on logistics activities, which are the most common source of waste and general solutions used that contribute to the elimination of wastes. On the other hand, the author presents the utilization of lean tools in internal logistics, such as tact time, just in time, balancing the production line, kanban system, supermarket, production leveling heijunka, one piece flow, logistics train and milk run.

Rozwój koncepcji lean manufacturing oraz jej realnie pozytywny wpływ na funkcjonowanie przedsiębiorstw stał się uzasadnieniem implementacji zasad i narzędzi lean do wszystkich obszarów działalności organizacji, w tym inżynierii oprogramowania i technologii informatycznych. Dynamiczny rozwój IT staje się równolegle motywem i szansą na realnie skuteczną eliminację powstających w procesach biznesowych marnotrawstw. Analiza trendów oraz kierunków rozwoju IT pozwala wysunąć tezę, iż racjonalizacja i optymalizacja procesów informatycznych z wykorzystaniem technik i narzędzi lean będzie priorytetowym zagadnieniem na najbliższe lata.

The article concerns the application of the lean IT conception to optimize business processes and organization’s IT infrastructure. The development of the lean manufacturing conception and its positive impact on the functioning of the company became the justification for the implementation of the lean principles and tools to all areas of the organizations including software engineering and information technology. The dynamic development of IT becomes both reason and opportunity for effective elimination of waste emerging in business processes. Analysis of trends and directions of IT development allow to advance a thesis that the rationalization and optimization of IT processes using the tools of lean IT will be a priority for the coming years.

Celem artykułu jest wskazanie i przybliżenie nowoczesnych i efektywnych koncepcji zarządzania, jakie można wykorzystać w każdej działalności logistycznej. W artykule zwrócono uwagę na dwa obszary zagadnień związane z zarządzaniem łańcuchem dostaw1 i szczupłym zarządzaniem2. Na podstawie wybranych cech dokonano porównania koncepcji szczupłego zarządzania i zarządzania całym łańcuchem dostaw. Pokrótce opisano także narzędzia, które wykorzystuje się w obu wymienionych koncepcjach. Artykuł został przygotowany na podstawie przeglądu literatury przedmiotu oraz doświadczeń własnych autorki zawodowo zajmującej się logistyką w jednym z polskich przedsiębiorstw.

The aim of this article is to identify and familiarize modern and efficient management concepts that can be used in any logistics activity. In this article the author drew attention to two areas of issues related to supply chain management and lean management. The author is not without reason that he chose these concepts. The intention was to present a perspective on the management of logistics activities from the point of view of one of the organization and “organism” created from cooperating with each other in various functional areas of activity (mining, manufacturing, trade and service). Seeks to demonstrate any differences and similarities that characterize the discussed concepts, and also discusses the tools that are used in both approaches.

Tylko dzięki odpowiednim liderom na właściwych miejscach, w odpowiednim czasie, organizacje mogą skutecznie zarządzać nieuniknionymi zmianami i konkurować na dynamicznych rynkach.

The paper consists of concise historical background of Lean Management, its paradigms explanation and short description of people role in that philosophy. The following monograph illustrates also the culture of effective problem solving. The author encourages to: challenge, empower and develop all employees by self-improvement of the leaders. Only by having appropriate leaders in the right place at the right time, any organization is able to manage unavoidable changes and compete at the dynamic market effectively.

In the article evaluation results of the state of the problems associated with the lack in the system of 6S in one of local textile factory were presented. Achieved results allowed drafting the project to implement the concept improvements 6S+1 step by step. For the purposes of studies conducted by the author 6S+1 were created, where "1" means safety as the additional step which isn't seventh S. The safety a step, which in the Lean Management and TPM is crucial. (original abstract)
