Autor omawia poglądy Leona Petrażyckiego dotyczące relacji pomiędzy prawem i ekonomią. Poddaje krytyce tezę o możliwości zaniku prawa przy jednoczesnym utrzymywaniu konieczności równomiernego podziału bogactw (dystrybucji), gdyż poza rynkową alokacją dóbr i dochodów każda inna alternatywa wymaga norm i zasad prawnych. Autor analizuje także poglądy Petrażyckiego na instytucję odszkodowań i zestawia je z poglądami szkoły ekonomicznej analizy prawa. Na koniec pojawia się omówienie poglądów Petrażyckiego na odkrycia geograficzne i przyczyny upadku potęgi Hiszpanii jako przykład błędu teorii merkantylistycznych.

The author discusses Petrazycki views of the relationship between law and economics. Criticizes the idea of the possibility of law disappearance while maintaining necessary distribution of wealth, because beyond the market allocation of goods (free market rules) any other alternative require legal rules. The author compare Leon Petrazycki with Law and Ecenomics School. At the end author describe the reasons for the collapse of the power of Spain as an example of an error mercantilist theory.
