Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie rozwoju szkoleń bibliotecznych online; w niniejszych badaniach wykorzystano analizy stron internetowych bibliotek nadzorowanych przez MNiSW, wyniki badań ankietowych przeprowadzonych wśród bibliotekarzy tworzących kursy biblioteczne, studium przypadku szkolenia oferowanego przez BG UMCS oraz wyniki ankiety ewaluacyjnej, dołączonej do ww. szkolenia.

The article presents advancement in the area of online library training based on: the analysis of the web pages of the libraries being supervised by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the results of surveys conducted among the librarians responsible for the library trainings and a case study of the library training held by the Main Library of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin along with the results of the evaluation survey attached to the said training.

Głównym zadaniem bibliotek akademickich jest uczestniczenie w procesie naukowo-dydaktycznym uczelni. W artykule przedstawiono różne formy działalności edukacyjnej podejmowane zarówno w bibliotekach polskich, jak i zagranicznych. Omówiono także zmieniającą się na przestrzeni lat ofertę szkoleniową Biblioteki Głównej Uniwersytetu przyrodniczego w Lublinie skierowaną do studentów, doktorantów i pracowników. Dodatkowo przedstawiono częściowe wyniki badania ankietowego, które miały na celu poznanie potrzeb i zbadanie poziomu satysfakcji użytkowników. Na potrzeby artykułu zaprezentowano i poddano analizie pytania dotyczące oferty edukacyjnej.

The most important task of a university library is to take part in the research and education conducted by the university. he article presents diferent educational tasks undertaken by both polish libraries and the libraries abroad. he article also describes educational activities ofered over the years by the Main Library of the University of Life Sciences. hese activities have been directed mostly at graduate and doctoral students as well as the university employees. in addition, the summary presents partial results of a survey designed to provide information about the needs and the satisfaction levels of the library users. he survey questions analyzed in the article concerned the educational ofer.

The article shows selected ways of shaping learners’ educational competencies by means of visual literature and provides suggestion on how to use visual literature by librarians in the process of shaping learners’ competencies. Special attention has been paid to advantages that are pertinent to the use of such literature in teaching. To provide the descriptions of particular visual books the author has applied the literature analysis criticism and exemplification method. Comparative analysis of texts of culture has been applied.

W artykule ukazano wybrane sposoby kształtowania kompetencji edukacyjnych ucznia przy użyciu narzędzia, jakim jest literatura wizualna. W ramach dyskursu przedstawiono propozycje wykorzystania literatury wizualnej przez bibliotekarzy w procesie kształtowania kompetencji uczniów. Szczególną uwagę zwróconona korzyści wynikające z zastosowania tej literatury w nauczaniu. Opisując konkretne książki wizualne, posłużono się metodą analizy i krytyki piśmiennictwa oraz metodą egzemplifikacyjną. Przeprowadzono analizę porównawczą tekstów kultury.
