Autorki zaprezentowały wyniki ankiety przeprowadzonej wśród osób długotrwale bezrobotnych w pow. sulęcińskim. Przedstawiona analiza dotyczyła sytuacji rodzinnej i finansowej badanych osób, ich aktywności w życiu codziennym, posiadanych kwalifikacji, aktywizacji zawodowej oraz ich stosunku do działań podejmowanych przez urząd pracy.

The aim of the article is to present results of a survey of long-term unemployed people in the Sulęcin powiat. The analysis refers to the family, financial, situation of respondents, their activities of daily living, qualifications, activities aimed at professional activation and their relation to activities undertaken by employment offices. In years 2012-2014 the Local Labour Office in Sulęcin has been executor of an innovative project in collaboration with a German company. The Authors of this paper took part in this project, realizing stage Analysis and diagnosis of the problem of long-term unemployment in the Sulęcin powiat.(original abstract)

Celem artykułu jest próba określenia wpływu głównych zmiennych makroekonomicznych na prawdopodobieństwo pozostawania długookresowo bezrobotnym przez zarejestrowanego bezrobotnego oraz na samą liczbę bezrobotnych długookresowo. W opracowaniu przedstawiono wyniki oszacowania logitowego modelu ekonometrycznego dla makrodanych oraz modelu przyczynowo-skutkowego. (fragment tekstu)

The article presents an example analysis of the impact of selected macro-economic variables on a long-term unemployment. A logit econometric model for macro-data as well as cause-and-effect model were estimated. The first of these is a tool to study the impact of macroeconomic statistical category on the unemployed and the other is a tool for determining the direction and strength of the impact of selected macro-economic variables on the level of long-term unemployment. In both cases, an attempt was made to boost the models i.e. the time factor was taken into account. (original abstract)

Labour markets in the Eurozone have not yet recovered from the global crisis that hit the world economy in late 2008. Across the Eurozone, the reduction of long-lasting unemployment is a priority for citizens and policymakers alike. The persistence of a large number of long-term unemployed persons over long periods of time generates huge social as well as economic costs in the Eurozone. We discuss about long-term unemployment in Euro countries over the period from 1995 to 2012. One of the characteristics of the recent recession (2008-2012) was the unprecedented rise in long-term unemployment in PIIGS countries in the Eurozone. The trend in long-term unemployment varied between "core" countries and PIIGS countries.

In the article there are presented findings of detailed analyses of dynamics one of basic parameters which characterize labour market, that is unemployment rate and long-term unemployment rate for the group new EU members. Analysis includes construction of trend function of aforesaid parameters and prognoses of their values for forthcoming years which are assigned by a several independent methods. Separate part of elaboration is estimation of influence parameters describing the labour market on basic economic and social processes.

Wpływ zmian demograficznych na regionalne rynki pracy w Polsce

Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie zmian demograficznych, jakie zaszły w polskich województwach w latach 1995-2014, oraz ich wpływu na regionalne rynki pracy. Heterogeniczność polskich województw zidentyfikowana została na podstawie odmiennej dynamiki zmian oczekiwanej długości trwania życia w momencie urodzin, odmiennych wzorców kształtowania się współczynników obciążenia demograficznego i odmiennej struktury populacji. Rzutują one na regionalne zróżnicowanie rynków pracy, które przyjmuje wielowymiarowy charakter (stopy zatrudnienia i aktywności zawodowej, odsetka długotrwale bezrobotnych). W artykule sformułowano tezę, zgodnie z którą heterogeniczność województw pod względem charakterystyk demograficznych ściśle determinuje strukturę i dynamikę zmian obserwowanych na regionalnym rynku pracy, skutkując zróżnicowaniem poziomów i dynamiki PKB per capita i obserwowaną dywergencją rozwoju województw.

The aim of the article is to present the demographic changes that appeared in Poland in 1995-2014 and the influence they have on regional labour markets. The heterogeneity of the Polish regions relates to the differentiated dynamics of the life expectancy at birth, old age dependency ratio and population structure. All these demographic measures influence remarkably the situation observed on regional labour markets when it comes to the employment and labour force participation rates and the fraction of long-term unemployed. The thesis of the article can be summarised as follows: the heterogeneity of demographic changes determines strictly both the structure and dynamics of changes observed on regional labour markets. It affects differentiated levels and growth rates of GDP per capita and results in the divergence in development of Polish voivodeships.
