The aim of the planned study was to evaluate the applicability of the mathematical model being developed to support the designation of the term chemical treatment against Colorado potato beetle (Leptinotarsa decemlineata Say.) Using a designated sum of effective temperatures, an adopted for organic farms and update the economic thresholds. Moreover, the study focused on the determination of the correlation between some abiotic factors of the environment (mainly meteorological factors) and, chemical control the pest’s stage of development and determination of the sum of heat and the sum of effective temperatures. Scientifically, two regression equations (mathematical models) were defined to determine the number of days for the development of harmful stages from the time the egg was laid to the L2 and L3 stages.
