The paper discusses Vietnam-Poland economical relations both in retrospection as within the contemporary settings. The author remarks that since 1990s relations of the both countries have entered a new stage of bilateral relations which are based on the principles of market forces, equality and mutual benefits; even if in the early 1900s the relation between two countries witnessed a dramatic decline. But by the 1992, together with a visit of Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Tran Duc Luong, and propositions of multilateral economic cooperation issued form both of the sides, a new dynamics of Poland-Vietnamese relationship has been established. The paper discuses such a cooperation's economic dimensions and crucial moments. It stresses a great importance of the Vietnamese community in Poland in promotion of the mutual relationship.
