Jakość wzajemnych relacji polsko-ukraińskich jest szczególnie istotna z uwagi na ich bezpośredni związek z bezpieczeństwem i stabilnością w Europie Środkowo- -Wschodniej. Pomimo czynionych licznych wysiłków na rzecz wsparcia Ukrainy w jej drodze reform przez stronę polską w dalszym ciągu istnieją czynniki destabilizujące, na które strona polska ma ograniczony wpływ.

Poland seeks correct stacking relations with all its neighbours. The quality of mutual Polish-Ukrainian relations is particularly important because of its direct relationship with the security and stability in Central and Eastern Europe. Despite numerous efforts being made to support Ukraine in its path of reform by the Polish side there are still destabilizing factors.
