Artykuł przedstawia aktualny poziom rozwoju łódzkiego rynku nieruchomości hotelowych na tle innych miast wojewódzkich. Wskazano obszary potencjału turystycznego Łodzi, a następnie przeprowadzono analizę w zakresie liczby obiektów i miejsc noclegowych, stopnia ich wykorzystania oraz rozmieszczenia przestrzennego. W dalszej kolejności podjęto próbę oceny bliższych i dalszych perspektyw rozwoju rynku, a także wskazano na potencjalne zagrożenia.

The article presents the current level of Łódź hotel market development in comparison to other regional cities. The author points out areas that create tourism potential of Łódź, she analyses the number of hotels and accommodation possibilities in the aforementioned hotels. Occupancy rate and spatial distribution are also taken into account. What is more, the article includes analyses of closer and further perspectives of Łódź hotel market development and informs about potential risks.
