The article presents the analysis of the readiness of students - current and future human resources in IT branch - enrolled in Computer Science field of study in Lubelskie region universities to work in the German IT sector. The determinants of spatial mobility towards Germany, related to potential employment in the sector in line with their education, have been indicated. The factors that affect the resigning from a job seeking in this country have been also identified.

W artykule dokonano analizy czynników gospodarczych, wpływających na poziom migracji międzywojewódzkich, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem poziomu regionalnych nakładów na badania i rozwój (BiR). Pokazano jak zwiększanie nakładów na BiR przyczynia się do unowocześniania struktury gospodarczej w regionie, a co za tym idzie, do wzrostu jego konkurencyjności. Jednym z przejawów konkurencyjności województwa jest liczba osób, które migrują do niego na pobyt stały. W pierwszej części opracowania wyodrębniono grupy województw podobnych ze względu na uwzględnione w analizie zmienne, będące wskaźnikami rozwoju gospodarczego. W drugiej części zastosowano ekonometryczne modele grawitacji, szacowane na podstawie 5 danych panelowych. Na podstawie wyników estymacji tych modeli określono czynniki, oddziałujące na poziom migracji między wszystkimi parami województw w jednakowym stopniu, oraz stwierdzono występowanie dodatkowych czynników, specyficznych dla poszczególnych par województw wpływających na poziom migracji pomiędzy nimi. In the article the analysis of economic factors having an impact on inter-voivodship migration, with taking into consideration particularly the level of regional expenditures on research and development, was made. The author showed how the increase of expenditures on research and development contributes to economic structure modernization in region, and how it influences on the growth of its competitiveness. One of the voivodship competitiveness symptoms is the number of population migrating to become the permanent residents of this voivodship. In the first part of the paper the voivodships groups were separated by similar variables, which are the indicators of economic development. In the second part the econometric gravitation models, estimated on the base of panel data, were used. On the basis of findings coming from the estimation of these models the factors influencing on migration level between every pair of voivodships on the same stage were determined. The additional factors specific for the particular voivodships pairs influencing on the migration level between them were also found. (original abstract)
