Dochodowe efekty mnożnikowe generowane przez zatrudnienie na uczelniach wyższych (na przykładzie opolskiego ośrodka akademickiego)

Lokalizacja kilku szkół wyższych w opolskim ośrodku akademickim generuje liczne konsekwencje dla ich otoczenia. Jedną z nich jest zatrudnienie na uczelniach publicznych kilku tysięcy osób, które poprzez uzyskiwanie dochodów z tytułu świadczenia pracy i tym samym zwiększenie siły nabywczej swoich gospodarstw domowych generują dodatkowy popyt na dobra i usługi, umożliwiając tym samym egzystencję i rozwój przedsiębiorstw zaspokajających potrzeby konsumpcyjne i inwestycje na lokalnym rynku. Z kolei rozwój tych przedsiębiorstw wpływa na utrzymanie dotychczasowych i powstanie nowych miejsc pracy oraz prowadzi do tzw. dochodowych efektów mnożnikowych. W artykule przedstawiono szacunki dochodowych efektów mnożnikowych, które powstają dzięki zatrudnieniu pracowników na publicznych uczelniach wyższych zlokalizowanych w Opolu. Szacunków tych dokonano m.in. na podstawie danych pochodzących ze sprawozdań opolskich uczelni oraz danych Głównego Urzędu Statystycznego.

The location of several universities in Opole generates a number of consequences for their surroundings. One of them is to employment at these universities of several thousand people who through obtaining income, increase the purchasing power of their households generate additional demand for goods and services. That can allow to exist and develop of enterprises that meet consumer needs and invest in the local market. In turn, the development of these enterprises involved in existing and creation of new jobs and leads to income multiplier effects. In this article there are presented estimates of the income multiplier effects which arise due to the employment at public universities located in Opole. These estimates were based on financial statements of universities and on the data from the Central Statistical Office.
