.(Title in Polish - 'Regionalizmy fonetyczne w polskojezycznych wydawnictwach ksiazkowych a kwestia ksztaltowania sie pólnocnokresowego dialektu kulturalnego na Litwie po II wojnie swiatowej'). The paper concerns the problem of development of the literary Polish language in post-war Lithuania. The author asserts that the post-war north boundary cultural dialect is not a new form of the north boundary folk dialects, but a specific sociolect-continuator, which gradually loses its regional characteristics. This hypothesis is supported by the following facts: 1) all phonetic peculiarities are the earlier north boundary features, 2) text frequency of earlier phonetisms is the greatest in early post-war printed matter. The author associates the continuity of the north boundary tradition with speech activity of the old generation of Vilnius intelligentsia, namely, the educated Poles who owing to their good education, were either taking up work in spontaneously opened Polish schools or posts in editorial offices of Polish newspapers, or participated in cultural life of early post-war Vilnius.
