This paper is related to making use of one of the new forms of public administration’s activity, i.e. public-private partnership, to fulfill tasks referring to helping disabled people. It develops the essence of partner-ship and limitations of use partnership to these tasks. Examples of tasks that may be perform this way are given too.

Celem opracowania jest prezentacja rozwiązań technologicznych, stanowiących wsparcie dla osób niedosłyszących, chcących uczestniczyć w życiu zawodowym oraz ich oczekiwań wobec innowacji, które mogłyby ich dodatkowo w tym postanowieniu wzmocnić. Został on zrealizowany poprzez konfrontację potencjalnego i realnego rynku innowacji wprowadzanych z przeznaczeniem dla osób niedosłyszących. Pierwszy został określony w wyniku badań kwestionariuszowych przeprowadzonych na grupie osób niedosłyszących aktywnych zawodowo. Drugi poprzez identyfikację innowacji na podstawie wywiadu bezpośredniego wytypowanych firm oraz w oparciu o dane Urzędu Patentowego RP.

The aim of the study is to present technological solutions, which support for the hearing impaired, who want to participate in working life as well as their expectations for innovation, which could further strengthen them in this decision. The aim has been realized through the confrontation of potential and real market innovations introduced with the purpose for the hearing impaired. The first was determined by questionnaire research conducted on a group of professionally active hearing impaired. The second through the identification of innovations based on direct interviews of selected companies, and based on the data of the Polish Patent Office.
