W dniach 23–24 marca 2017 r. odbyła się w Collegium Humanisticum Uniwersytetu Mikołaja Kopernika w Toruniu (dalej: UMK) Międzynarodowa Konferencja Toruńska zatytułowana: „Wizualizacja informacji w humanistyce”. Jej organizatorem był Instytut Informacji Naukowej i Bibliologii UMK. Było to już drugie spotkanie poświęcone tej tematyce w grodzie Kopernika. Pierwsza impreza odbyła się jesienią 2015 r. w Wyższej Szkole Kultury Społecznej i Medialnej w Toruniu i zatytułowana była: „Wizualizacja informacji”.

On 23–24 March 2017 in Collegium Humanisticum of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń there took place the International Torun Conference titled “Visualization of information in the humanities”. It was organized by the Institute of Scientific Information and Bibliology of Nicolaus Copernicus University. It was the second meeting devoted to this issue and organized in Toruń. The first conference titled “Visualization of information” took place in the autumn of 2015 in the College of Social and Media Culture in Toruń.

März 2017 fand im Collegium Humanisticum der Nikolaus-Kopernikus-Universität in Thorn die Internationale Thorner Tagung: „Die Informationsvisualisierung in den Geisteswissenschaften“ statt. Ihr Organisator war das Institut für Wissenschaftliche Information und Bibliologie der Nikolaus-Kopernikus-Universität in Thorn. Es war schon das zweite Treffen in Thorn, das dieser Thematik gewidmet wurde. Die erste Veranstaltung fand im Herbst 2015 in der Hochschule für Sozial- und Medienkultur in Thorn statt, und zwar unter dem Titel: „Die Informationsvisualisierung“.

W roku 2018 ukazał się pierwszy przewodnik po zasobie archiwum uniwersyteckiego pt. Archiwum Uniwersytetu Mikołaja Kopernika w Toruniu Informator o zasobie archiwalnym. Stan na dzień 31 grudnia 2017 roku, pod red. A. Supruniuk i W. Krajniak, którego autorami są pracownicy Archiwum. Informator składa się z trzech zasadniczych części: wstępnej (przedmowa, wstęp, kalendarium, wykaz skrótów), zasadniczej (prezentacja zasobu) i uzupełniającej (wykaz podzespołów, spis ilustracji, bibliografia, streszczenie w języku angielskim, indeks rzeczowy). Został on bardzo starannie przygotowany pod względem merytorycznym i graficznym. Na szczególną uwagę zasługuje rozbudowany i wartościowy wstęp, który pozwala zrozumieć budowę i sposób korzystania z pomocy, a przede wszystkim przybliża dzieje Archiwum i jego zasób. Część zasadniczą Informatora stanowi charakterystyka zasobu, która pozwala zapoznać się ze zgromadzonymi archiwaliami. Opis poszczególnych podzespołów zawiera osiem szczegółowych informacji, w tym o ich zawartości, uzupełnionej o zakres chronologiczny poszczególnych serii akt. Całość dopełnia przemyślany i przygotowany bardzo starannie aparat uzupełniający. Wartość publikacji podnosi znacząco jej szata graficzna i staranne wydanie, w tym liczne fotografie, które znakomicie ilustrują poszczególne części. Przygotowanie pierwszego przewodnika po zasobie archiwum uniwersyteckiego wymagało od autorów podjęcia kilku problemów o znaczeniu priorytetowym dla archiwistyki akademickiej, w tym przede wszystkim dotyczącego struktury zasobu tego typu archiwum. Publikacja znajdzie swoje trwałe miejsce w dorobku polskiej archiwistyki nie tylko z uwagi na pionierski charakter, ale przede wszystkim wysoki poziom merytoryczny zawartych w nim informacji.

In 2018, the first guide to the resources of the university archives was published Archives of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. Information on archival resources. As of December 31, 2017, edited by A. Supruniuk and W. Krajniak, whose authors are employees of the Archives. The guide consists of three main parts: the introductory part (preface, introduction, calendar, list of abbreviations), the basic part (the presentation of the resource) and the supplementary part (a list of components, a list of illustrations, bibliography, summary in English, material index). It has been very carefully prepared in terms of content and graphics. Particularly noteworthy is the extensive and valuable introduction, which allows you to understand the structure and method of using the help section, and above all it introduces the history of the Archives and its resources. The main part of the Guide is the characteristics of the resource, which allows you to get acquainted with the collected archives. The description of individual components contains eight detailed pieces of information concerning their content, supplemented with the chronological scope of individual series of files. The whole is completed by a well thought-out and carefully prepared supplementary apparatus. The value of the publication is significantly increased by its graphic design and careful edition, including numerous photographs that perfectly illustrate individual parts. The preparation of the first guide to the university archive resource required the Authors to take up several problems of priority importance for academic archival studies, including first and foremost the structure of this type of archival resource. The publication will find its permanent place in the achievements of Polish archival studies not only because of its pioneering nature, but above all, owing to the high substantive level of information contained therein.

2018 erschien der erste Führer durch den Archivbestand Archiwum Uniwersytetu Mikołaja Kopernika w Toruniu Informator o zasobie archiwalnym. Stan na dzień 31 grudnia 2017 roku (Archiv der Nikolaus-Kopernikus-Universität in Thorn. Ein Führer durch den Archivbestand. Stand vom 31. Dezember 2017), hrsg. von A. Supruniuk und W. Krajniak, dessen Autoren zugleich Archivmitarbeiter sind. Der Führer besteht aus drei Hauptteilen: dem einleitenden (Vorwort, Einleitung, Zeittafel, Abkürzungsverzeichnis), dem Hauptteil (Schilderung des Bestands) und dem ergänzenden Teil (Verzeichnis von Aktenteilen, Abbildungsverzeichnis, Bibliografie, Zusammenfassung in der englischen Sprache, Sachregister). Er wurde sehr sorgfältig vorbereitet, und zwar aus sachlicher und grafischer Sicht. Eine besondere Aufmerksamkeit verdient die ausgebaute und wertvolle Einleitung, die es erlaubt, den Aufbau und die Nutzungsmöglichkeiten dieses Lehrbuchs zu nachvollziehen, und vor allem die Geschichte des Archivs und sein Bestand schildert. Den Hauptteil des Führers bildet die Charakteristik des Bestands, dank der es möglich ist, sich mit den gesammelten Archivalien vertraut zu machen. Die Beschreibung der einzelnen Aktenteile enthält acht detaillierte Informationen, darunter ihren Inhalt, ergänzt durch die chronologischen Rahmen der einzelnen Aktenreihen. Die Ganzheit wird mit einem durchdachten und sorgfältig vorbereiteten ergänzenden Apparat abgeschlossen. Den Wert der Publikation steigert eindeutig ihr grafisches Layout und eine sorgfältige Ausgabe, darunter zahlreiche Fotografien, die die einzelnen Teile sehr gut bebildern. Die Vorbereitung des ersten Führers durch den Bestand des Universitätsarchivs verlangte von den Autoren die Bereitschaft, einige für die akademische Archivkunde gravierende Probleme aufzunehmen, darunter vor allem in Hinblick auf die Struktur des Bestands eines solchen Archivs. Die Publikation findet ihren nachhaltigen Platz in der polnischen Archivkunde nicht nur wegen ihres Pioniercharakters, sondern auch wegen ihres hohen Sachniveaus der angeführten Angaben.

W dniach 9-10 marca 2017 r. odbyła się w Collegium Humanisticum Uniwersytetu Mikołaja Kopernika w Toruniu (dalej: UMK) II Ogólnopolska Konferencja Naukowa zatytułowana: „Człowiek – Informacja. Książka. Cyberkultura”. Jej organizatorem było Studencko – Doktoranckie Koło Naukowe ePRINT, działające przy Instytucie Informacji Naukowej i Bibliologii UMK. Jest to już trzecia impreza naukowa przygotowana przez młodych naukowców z Torunia. Na konferencji słuchacze mogli wysłuchać kilkunastu ciekawych wystąpień, w których Autorzy omówili nowe sposoby przekazywania treści, oraz możliwości i problemy czyhające na użytkowników szukających informacji w internecie.

On 9–10 March 2017 in Collegium Humanisticum of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun there took place the Second Polish Scientific Conference titled “Man – Information. Book. Cyberculture”. It was organized by the Scientific Circle of Students and PhD Students ePRINT, which operates in the Institute of Scientific Information and Bibliology of Nicolaus Copernicus University. It is the third conference organized by young academics from Toruń. The participants of the conference had an opportunity to listen to a dozen of interesting speeches, the authors of which discussed new methods of transmitting knowledge along with possibilities and problems which may be encountered by users of the Internet.

Am 9.–10. März 2017 fand im Collegium Humanisticum der Nikolaus-Kopernikus-Universität in Thorn die II. Gesamtpolnische Wissenschaftliche Tagung: „Mensch – Information. Buch. Digitalkultur“ statt. Ihr Organisator war der Wissenschaftliche Kreis der StudentInnen und DoktorandInnen ePRINT, der am Institut für Wissenschaftliche Information und Bibliologie der Nikolaus-Kopernikus-Universität in Thorn wirkt. Es ist schon die dritte wissenschaftliche Veranstaltung, vorbereitet von den jungen ForscherInnen aus Thorn. Während der Tagung konnten die Zuhörer mehrere interessante Vorträge wahrnehmen, deren Autoren auf die neuen Möglichkeiten der Inhaltswiedergabe sowie auf die Probleme der Benutzer, die nach Informationen online suchen, hinwiesen.

Tekst przedstawia najważniejsze zmiany, jakie zaszły w czasopiśmie w ostatnim czasie. Dotyczą one nowego współwydawcy, zamieszczenia periodyku na Akademickiej Platformie Czasopism, przejścia na formułę Open Access, dodania cyfrowego identyfikatora dokumentu elektronicznego (DOI), nowych baz archiwizujących i indeksujących oraz wprowadzenia metadanych i bibliografii w stylu Chicago dla wszystkich artykułów. Te nowości wyznaczają kierunek, w którym obecnie zmierza redakcja „Folia Toruniensia”. W tekście zaprezentowano także skrótowo wszystkie artykuły, jakie zostały wy- dane w tomie 17.

The article presents the most important changes which have taken place in the journal recently. They concern the new co-publisher, the periodical’s being included in the Academic Platform of Journals, changing to the Open Access formula, adding the digital identifier of the electronic document (DOI), new archival and index bases, introducing metabases and bibliography according to the Chicago style for all articles. The changes mark new trends of the development of Folia Toruniensia. The text briefly presents all the articles published in vol. XVII.

Der Text schildert die wichtigsten Änderungen in der Zeitschrift, die in den letzten Jahren zustande gekommen sind. Sie beziehen sich auf den neuen Mitverleger, auf die Erschließung der Zeitschrift in der Akademischen Zeitschriftendatenbank, den Übergang zum Open-Access-Modell, die Ausstattung der Objekte mit dem Digitalen Objektbezeichner (DOI), die neuen Archiv- und Indexdatenbanken sowie auf die Metadaten und die Bibliografie im Chicago-Stil, gültig für alle Beiträge. Diese Neuigkeiten markieren eine neue Richtung, die für die Redaktion von „Folia Toruniensia“ zum Maßstab wird. Im Text wurde auch zusammenfassend auf alle Beiträge eingegangen, welche im Band 17 erschienen.
