Przykład tanich linii lotniczych oraz hoteli budżetowych potwierdza wysoką skuteczność i efektywność modelu biznesowego generującego zysk z niskich kosztów działalności. Celem artykułu jest ukazanie specyfi-ki działalności przedsiębiorstw świadczących tanie usługi lotnicze i hotelarskie w zakre-sie propozycji wartości i modelu operacyjnego.

Low-cost business model is successfully implemented by companies repre-senting the tourism industry. Low-cost airlines and budget hotels confirm the high effec-tiveness and efficiency of the business model generating profits from low operating costs. The purpose of this article is to present the specificity of companies providing low-cost flights and hotel services in the field of value for customer and operating model.
