Od 2017 r. niektóre podmioty (w tym również zakłady ubezpieczeń) są zobowiązane do sporządzania sprawozdania z działalności jednostki w poszerzonym wymiarze. Ta dodatkowa zawartość dotyczy informacji o charakterze społecznym i środowiskowym. Między innymi są to dane na temat stosowanego modelu biznesowego jednostki. W artykule poruszono kwestię definiowania modelu biznesowego oraz jego elementów składowych. Przeanalizowano również przykładowe (PZU S.A.) sprawozdanie z działalności jednostki w celu identyfikacji już zawartych w nim elementów wypełniających obowiązek sprawozdawczy w tym zakresie.

From 2017 some entities (including insurance companies) are required to report on the activities of the entity in the augmented dimension. This additional content applies to information of a social and environmental. One of them is the data about the applying business model. The article addresses the issue of defining the business model and it`s elements. As an example, was analyzed report on the activities of the unit (made of PZU S.A.) to identify already contained in the infill elements reporting obligation in this regard.
