Współcześni konsumenci dosyć szybko zaadaptowali się do zmieniającej się rzeczywistości rynkowej oraz nowych mobilnych rozwiązań. Korzystają z technologii, aby ułatwić sobie życie, podejmować rozsądne decyzje zakupowe, przez co na nowo definiują sposób, w jaki robią zakupy. Konsument digitalny to osoba regularnie robiąca zakupy w e-sklepach, korzystająca z wielu aplikacji dostępnych na platformach Android, Windows Phone, iOS i innych oraz dokonująca za ich pomocą zakupu produktów i usług. Konsument digitalny wyróżnia się na tle innych konsumentów pewnymi szczególnymi cechami. Artykuł ma na celu przedstawienie sylwetki współczesnego konsumenta, którego coraz częściej określa się mianem digitalnego.

Contemporary consumer have quite quickly adapter to a changing market reality and new mobile solutions. They use technology in order to make their lives easier, take reasonable buying decisions, and thus, they redefine the way in which they do shopping. A digital consumer is a person who regularly does e-shopping and uses a lot of applications available on Android, Windows Phone, iOS platforms and others to purchase products and foods. A digital consumer is distinguished among other consumers by certain particular features. The aim of the article is to present of a contemporary consumer, who is more and more often described as a digital consumer.
