The article presents the financial support of Polish organic farming after Poland's mem bership in EU. The main area of analysis were the changes of financial support's rules, grants for organic farming, since they have a direct influence on the organic farms' structure and on the organic farming area. The enlargement of financial support for organic farming and introducing stable legal conditions contributed expressly to the development of this form of agricultural activity. The attention has been paid to different interests of organic farming support in particular Poland's regions. In 2004-2006 the amount of financial support applications for born control costs and support within the organic farming package increased almost three times and the greatest actiivity was shown by farmers who applied for an accordance production certificate. The greatest part of applications was made by farmers from regions: malopolski, podkarpacki, mazowiecki, swietokrzyski and lubelski. On the basis of the made applications for particular types of crops it was estimated that in 2006 supported area was three times greater than In 2004 and 67 percent of it concerned the crops without certiflcation. In the article attention was also paid to increase of areas of fruit-organic farming and berry plantations and to most supported organic farming areas in analyzed period.
