The article presents the idea of outsourcing, as well as advantages and disadvantages connected with its implementation. The key role in the decision process related to outsourcing is the correct definition of present and future key competencies, but also a precise identification of organization's specificity. The Arnold's Model, which has been described in the article, has a universal character as it includes issues of key competencies and transactional costs.
