Istotnym problemem, z jakim borykają się wszyscy inwestorzy, jest pozyskiwanie funduszy na realizację zamierzonego przedsięwzięcia. Ochrona środowiska jest taką dziedziną gospodarki, która w chwili obecnej wymaga dużych nakładów finansowych. Od 2003 roku występuje tendencja wzrostowa w nakładach inwestycyjnych związanych z ochroną środowiska, która jest wynikiem większej restrykcyjności w przestrzeganiu przepisów prawa oraz wzrostu liczby źródeł finansowania i odpowiedniego kształtowania ich struktury. W artykule przedstawiono źródła finansowania inwestycji ekologicznych w Polsce w latach 2000-2005.

Raising funds for the accomplishment of the undertaking is a substantial problem all investors. The environmental protection is such field of economics which at present requires the big financial outlays. From 2003 an upturn is appearing in the investments associated with the environmental protection which is a result bigger responsibility in obeying provisions of the law and the height of the number of source of finances and proper shaping their structure. In the article were introduced sources of funding of ecological investments in Poland in years to 2000-2005.
