Usuwanie i zapobieganie szkodom ekologicznym oraz koszty tych działań stały się problemami, z którymi stykają się organy administracji państwowej. Samorząd lokalny głównie podejmuje działania mające przyczynić się do gospodarczego, środowiskowego i społecznego rozwoju gminy. Do zadań gminy w ramach ochrony środowiska należy: utrzymanie ładu przestrzennego, zaopatrzenie w wodę, odprowadzanie ścieków, gospodarka odpadami, ochrona terenów zieleni. W artykule przedstawiono analizę działań władz samorządowych gminy i ich decyzji na stan środowiska naturalnego.

Removing and preventing ecological damages and costs of this action became problems which state government authorities are encountering. Selfgovernment mainly is taking action being supposed to contribute to the economic, environmental and social development of the commune. As part of the environmental protection he is included in tasks of the commune: keeping the spatial order, water supply, sewage collection, waste disposal, protection of areas of green. In the article analysis of the action of self-government authorities of the commune and them were introduced with influence on the state of the natural environment.
