The article features a case study based on the example of Tenneco Automotive Polska. A very dynamic growth, implementation of strategic projects on new production lines required a skillful management of resources and existing limitations, which eventually brought the company to its current position on the market and to gain new customers. The article highlights techniques and methods of bottle necks management on production lines manufacturing exhaust systems for new model of AUDI A3 vehicle. In the era of continuously growing customer requirements, one of the most vital management issues for automotive components producers is to search and apply modern and innovative management techniques. Their implementation should enable to achieve goals of the organizations and satisfy their customers' expectations.
