This article asks the questions and strives for to answer about a place and function of people's-architecture (or folk architecture, vernacular architecture) in a country-planning (physical planning) of individual regions. The people's-architecture is a value most rooted up from all the values of the human cultural heritage in the environment. Some theorists of the architecture and town-planning pay attention to the crisis and decomposition of the town as a traditional form. In the construction of sites spread the chaos of architecture. The country and an architecture counterbalanced and binded with nature will regain its value. In the history of Slovakia there are several experiments for the rehabilitation of people's-architecture and country which deserve to be followed up. The people's-architecture is the most suitable model for building the structures for the tourism (sightseeing) services in the country.
