Celem artykułu jest próba zmierzenia oraz identyfikacji poziomu bezpieczeństwa ekonomicznego Szwecji na tle państw Organizacji Współpracy Gospodarczej i Rozwoju (OECD). W badaniach przyjęto definicję bezpieczeństwa ekonomicznego jako zdolności gospodarki do stabilnego, szybkiego wzrostu i rozwoju gospodarczego. Do przeanalizowania tego problemu zastosowano syntetyczny miernik bezpieczeństwa gospodarczego z wykorzystaniem metody PSM oraz algorytmu TOPSIS. Weryfikacja danych statystycznych pozwoliła na wysunięcie wniosku, że gospodarka szwedzka należy do najbezpieczniejszych pod względem ekonomicznym na tle państw OECD.

The aim of the article is to measure and identify the level of economic security of Sweden on the background of the countries of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development. The research adopted the definition of economic security as the ability of the economy to stable, rapid economic growth and development. The study developed a synthetic measure of economic security using the PSM method and the TOPSIS algorithm. Verification of statistical data allowed to conclude that the Swedish economy is among the most economically safe in comparison with OECD countries.
