(Title in Polish - 'Morderstwa Zydów w latach 1944-1946 na terenie Polski na podstawie kwerendy w zbiorze 301 (Relacje z Zaglady) w Archiwum Zydowskiego Instytutu Historycznego'). The communication sums up the results of a search of the accounts of the Holocaust kept in JHI Archives on the murders of Jews which occurred on Polish lands in the first post-WWII years. The researchers came across mentions of 54 attacks. They compiles a list of the incidents and a list of the victims' names. The incidents were analysed from the point of view of the number of victims, the nature of the assault, the perpetrators, the topography and timing of the incidents. Several types of incidents were identified: pogroms, attacks against homes inhabited by Jews, beating up of Jews travelling by train and throwing them out of trains (the so-called railway action), assaults on roads, murders of Jews trying to take back their property. In ten-odd cases the researchers believed that the attackers were members of the Polish armed underground. The violence against the Jews reached the highest intensity in the first half of 1945; the attacks ended around the end of 1945. The biggest number of such incidents occurred in the Lublin, Kielce and Rzeszów regions.
