Sezonowość bezrobocia na metropolitalnych, podmiejskich i peryferyjnych rynkach pracy w Polsce

Celem artykułu jest określenie poziomu i tendencji zmian sezonowości bezrobotnych na metropolitalnych, podmiejskich i peryferyjnych rynkach pracy w Polsce. Analizą objęto sześć metropolitalnych rynków pracy w Polsce wraz z ich rynkami podmiejskimi i peryferyjnymi. Podstawowe dane dotyczyły liczby bezrobotnych ogółem w ujęciu miesięcznym z okresu od stycznia 2004 do grudnia 2014 r. i pozyskane były z powiatowych urzędów pracy. Sezonowe składniki bezrobocia wyodrębniono algorytmem Census X-12 ARIMA. Wyniki wskazują, że najniższą sezonowością bezrobocia cechują się metropolie. Zaobserwowano rosnącą tendencję sezonowości bezrobocia (wyjątek stanowiły łódzki oraz poznański rynek pracy). Poszczególne typy rynków pracy charakteryzowały się podobnym rozkładem wahań sezonowych w trakcie roku. Ponadto zmiany liczby sezonowych bezrobotnych na metropolitalnych rynkach pracy w Polsce wykazują silną zgodność ze zmianami sezonowej liczby bezrobotnych na podmiejskich i peryferyjnych rynkach pracy.

The aim of the article was to determine the level and trends of seasonality unemployed in metropolitan, suburban and peripheral labour markets in Poland. The analysis included six metropolitan labour markets in Poland with their suburban and peripheral markets. Basic data is the number of unemployed in monthly terms from January 2004 to December 2014. Obtained from the District Labour Offices. Seasonal changes in unemployment separated algorithm Census X-12 ARIMA. Lowest seasonality of unemployment was observed in metropolitan areas. It was also observed increasing trend of seasonality in unemployment (with the exception of Łódź and Poznań labour market). Different types of labour markets were characterized by a similar distribution of seasonal fluctuations during the year. Furthermore seasonal changes in the number of unemployed in metropolitan labour markets in Poland show a strong compliance with seasonal changes in the number of unemployed in suburban and peripheral labour markets.
