This article discusses the problems of the part of Polish land owners in East Galicia who cooperated with National Democracy before the outbreak of the great war. The published list of greater land owners is connected with their political, social and economic activity, participation in numerous societies and social and professional organizations (The Galician Economic Society, Land Credit Society being the most important ones) as well and the financial ones (participation in boards of financial institutions).

Artykuł podejmuje problematykę tej części ziemiaństwa polskiego w Galicji Wschodniej, która współpracowała z Narodową Demokracją przed wybuchem Wielkiej Wojny. Publikowana lista większych właścicieli ziemskich związana jest z ich polityczną, społeczną i gospodarczą aktywnością, udziałem w licznych towarzystwach i organizacjach społecznych, zawodowych (na czele z Galicyjskim Towarzystwem Gospodarczym, Towarzystwem Kredytowym Ziemskim), finansowych (udział w zarządach i radach nadzorczych instytucji finansowych).
