Artykuł przedstawia wyniki badania poświęconego identyfikacji zależności pomiędzy wielkością, strukturą i kierunkiem powiązań gospodarczych (rozumianych jako relacja przestrzenna pomiędzy siedzibą firmy i siedzibą ich oddziałów terenowych według bazy REGON) oraz odległości czasowej pomiędzy obiema lokalizacjami (z analizy wykluczono relacje zachodzące w obrębie jednego miasta) dla miast województwa łódzkiego. Odległość czasową w badaniu określono przyjmując, że przemieszczenia odbywają się indywidualnym transportem samochodowym. Badanie przeprowadzono dla dwóch wariantów – sytuacji, w której jednostka macierzysta znajduje się w badanym mieście, oraz takiej, w której jednostka macierzysta znajduje się poza badanym miastem Zakres przestrzenny analizy obejmuje województwo łódzkie.

The main goal of the article is identification of relationships between the character of economic linkages (represented by the ownership linkages) and the time distance between location of the local and main units. The study was conducted for two variants – a situation in which the main unit is located in the city and the other in which the main unit is located outside the city. The spatial scope of the analysis covers the Lodz region.
