Artykuł ten prezentuje problematykę tekstów pisanych przez Głuchych. Teksty te mają cechy typowe dla tekstów nazywanych patologicznymi. Jednakże ich patologia nie jest tak oczywista, ponieważ błędy popełniane przez Głuchych są wynikiem głębokich różnic między polskim systemem językowym (językiem audialnym) a systemem polskiego języka migowego (PJM), który jest językiem manualnym. Jeśli osoba słysząca popełnia wiele rażących błędów w tekstach pisanych w języku obcym, tekstów tych nie nazywamy „patologicznymi”. Z taką sama sytuacją mamy do czynienia, gdy Głusi piszą swoje teksty w języku polskim. W rzeczywistości posługują się oni obcym dla nich językiem i dlatego ich tekstów także nie powinno traktować się jako patologiczne, lecz jako błędne.

This article presents the problems of the texts written by Deaf. These texts contain all typical features of the texts called pathological. However, their pathology is apparent because mistakes made by the Deaf are result of a profound difference between the Polish language system (audio language) and the system of the Polish Sign Language (PJM) which is the manual language. If the personhearing makes a lot of glaring mistakes in texts written in a foreign language we don’t call his texts “pathological”. The same situation is when Deaf writes the texts in the Polish language. In fact, he writes in a foreign language system so we can’t call these texts “pathological” either.
