The level of socio-economic, demographic processes and processes of migration phenomena are interdependent. The study has been subjected to a detailed analysis of inflow and outflow and the net internal migration in the Silesian province. The research includes internal migration in the Silesian province in terms of time (years 1995-2011) and spatial (sub Silesian province). In the context of economic and social processes in the Silesian province were examined trends in migration and development in this region and was carried out statistical analysis of the structure of migration.
As an individual acts within the reality which is determined by the social elements, it is crucial for it to comply with traditions and norms. The capitalistic system has created specific mechanisms, performing the role of strengthener of the whole system and enabling the cooperation of all individuals. As a result, in modern economics, the profit motive has been elevated from being merely a key plank in optimising societal benefit, to becoming the sole purpose of economies.
