This study was designed to explain the concept, which is the corporate governance and to demonstrate its relationship with trust in the modern enterprises. Presents the conditions of conception of corporate governance and its objectives. The article also discusses the code of good practice, as a basis for corporate governance. Presented good practices as a collection of corporate governance principles and rules defining the standards of conduct in relations with the environment of listed companies. Moreover, it was noted that the goal of good practice is to strengthen transparency in the business, which in turn is the key to building trust in the companies.
