Artykuł skupia uwagę na działalności przedsiębiorstw ciepłowniczych, dla których sprawne działanie determinowane jest przez odpowiednio dopasowane inwestycje w rzeczowe aktywa trwałe. Wymaga to analizy inwestycji zarówno pod kątem ich ekonomicznego wpływu na przedsiębiorstwo, jak również ze względu na ich znaczenie w osiąganiu celów i realizacji strategii jednostki. Celem opracowania jest wskazanie rodzaju podejmowanych inwestycji i ich roli w procesie kreowania wartości przedsiębiorstwa ciepłowniczego. Dokonany podział podejmowanych inwestycji oparty jest na celach strategicznych jednostki związanych z kluczowymi interesariuszami przedsiębiorstwa.

The article focuses on the activities of heat company, for which efficient operation is determined by properly aligned investments in tangible fixed assets. This investments has to be analyze of their economic impact on the company, and of their importance in achieving the objectives and implementation of the strategy unit. The aim of the study is to identify the type of investments and their role in the process of value creation in heat company. The division of investments is based on the strategic objectives entities associated with key stakeholders of the company.
