Normy ISO stały się dziś standardem dla jednostek administracji publicznej. Celem artykułu jest zaprezentowanie wdrożenia modelu zarządzania jakością w jednostce samorządu terytorialnego jaką jest Urząd Miejski. Najważniejsze poruszane problemy to określenie czynników, które wpływają na poprawę zadowolenia klientów z funkcjonowania urzędu, a także ukazanie korzyści, które wynikają z zastosowania Systemu Zarządzania Jakością w danej jednostce.

ISO standards today become the norm for public administration entities. This article is aimed at the presentation of a quality management model implementation in a local government entity such as the Municipal Authority. The most important issues mentioned in the article comprise definitions of factors that have an impact on the improvement of client satisfaction from office functioning, and also an indication of the benefits originating from the application of the Quality Management System in a given entity.
