Znaczenie Internetu rzeczy w planowaniu przepływów produktów i informacji w łańcuchu dostaw

W ciągu ostatnich kilku dekad pojawił się nowy model komunikacji w szeroko pojętym przemyśle. Gromadzenie, przetwarzanie oraz transfer danych pomiędzy m.in. budynkami, samochodami, centrami medycznymi, przedmiotami, urządzeniami, a także przedsiębiorstwami w łańcuchach dostaw został przeniesiony do świata wirtualnego, zwanego Internetem rzeczy (Internet of Things). Celem artykułu jest określenie, czy i w jaki sposób Internet rzeczy wpływa na organizację przepływów informacji i produktów w łańcuchu dostaw. Zależność pomiędzy łańcuchem dostaw a technologią IoT jest rozpatrywana w podziale na podmioty będące uczestnikami danego łańcucha dostaw oraz w kontekście organizacji przepływów produktów i informacji, która to decyduje o podziale na łańcuchy typu pull i push. Podstawą przeprowadzonych badań są studia przypadków.

Over the past few decades, a new model of communication in the broadly understood industry has emerged. The collection, processing and transfer of data between, among others, buildings, vehicles, medical centres, objects, devices, and also companies in the supply chain has been moved to the virtual world, known as the Internet of Things. The aim of the article is to determine whether and how the Internet of Things affects the organization of flow of information and products in the supply chain. The relationship between the supply chain and the IoT technology is considered in the respect of the participants of the supply chain and in the context of the organization of the flow of products and information, which decides on the division into pull and push chains. The basis of the conducted research are case studies.
