The Essay is concentrated on the most famous lecture of Mariusz Wilk. His publication confronts reader with creative, reformed literature. Moreover, reader will come across fascinated structure, in which he can find there mosaic of reportage, essay, dairy, and what is more important - these all sorts constitute not only - notes from the journey, but also experience, which is connected with domesticated issue. Author makes a question - what exactly is 'making a home place' or 'domesticated'? is this category realized only during the text level? As he has assured, in the Wilk's creativity it is not going only about rooting issue, which constitutes a borderline for human being, keep the man in a one place, border his possibility of absorption. In the 'Wolf's notebook', there is domestication as a state of settled down process, as assimilation process, tame process, which has exceeded otherness. As a result, otherness has a special capability, that is why - domesticated is focus on identity process. On the one hand, as author confirms - if reader will ask about author - there is not only one creators, there are two of them. First - makes a description of the experienced reality, and second - makes a trial of domestication in other motherhood culture. One the other hand, author of 'Wolf's notebook' is also a narrator, what makes other paradoxically oppositions such as: newcomer and native, he feels also 'like home', but also like a stranger. Author has convinced, it is possible to say, that character of the notebook has promised himself to achieve place to live on this world and maybe constitute renewed identity. She uses Ryszard Nycz's quotation and says - it is not possible to separate author from his experiences and telling the story, because between 'being stranger' and trial of domestication is situated additional identity trait - 'being writer'. Main character tries to convince reader, that only trial of rootedness gives cognitive possibilities, and as the result, struggle is a statement of text, which is much more real, than reality at all.

The Author has used the most famous polish philosopher's quotation, that it is a peculiar aspect of any sign of life - there are many forces, which are directed into a maintenance, into the keeping process of existing order or other things, which are standing in front of other sources. In our human being's world, these two energies are showed as durability need, security need, being in the well known place, novelty need, change need, curiosity need. These two inclinations have argued with themselves, but they are indispensable both, because of leading of our life. This quote constitutes a journey as a figure of human being's fate, especially it makes a stress and marks two oppositions: nomadic and colonization. Moreover, the next issue concerns on reporter profession as a specific kind of creativity, which is dictated by movement (mobility) and displacement. This creativity was called by Ryszard Kapuscinski, as literature by foot. Main thing is hidden in the middle word - nomadic - which concerns about permanent migratory, traveling around the world and looking for original discoveries, which can be transformed into very valuable record. Author has convinced, that presented record of everyday reporter's life, which wrote Ryszard Kapuscinski shows a special life image; he used an idea of surrealist stream of different associations, which are connected with surprising adjacent. From the next volume, author analyzes fundamental questions - is it possible, that reporter's life is devoid of rooting? Where it can makes its own universe? What consists axis mundi of its world and its omphalos? Or what makes a function in his life and home, as a place where one lives? Some answers gives the analyze of two the most famous polish reporters - Ryszard Kapuscinski and Melchior Wankowicz constitute two different ways of understanding home, as a place in which someone can learn values, cultivates tradition, this is a place which gives patriotic examples or home is a place which presents special kind of need, where rooting is possible. What is more important, these two different ways and treatment of home in Kapuscinski's and Wankowicz's creativity and life, there is one thing common - as the author has confirmed - intensive nomadic life in permanent mobility reminds a way back to home, as the act of special return.

In this essay author thesis, that tradition of Judaism and Christian has built and assigned to man metaphysical status of the nomad. As the result, human condition has shown in these categories can not see paradigms which are connected with homestead, rooting, places for live, habitation. As a matter of fact, a place so far called 'homestead' creates only a place for stopover. Moreover 'homestead' seems to be a place for a moment or longer place of acquisitive prescription. Author has convinced, every sign of the homestead is an illusion and truth about human being's situation consists of consternation in the face of spaces immersed in the eternal silence. Perhaps, connection of human being with the idea of the homestead is a specific way of lying self and grow away from death consciousness. That is why, home can be a diaphragm of grave idea. As she confirms, José Saramago's creativity makes possibility for this specific reading, where are presented keys words such as: monotheistic legacy and cryptology constitutes a knowledge about human, but deduced from negative attributes of the God. Author makes a trial and proofs - if we start from point of Judaism and Christian tradition will turn out, that there was no homestead or rooting phenomenon, only illusion. Because the man lived somewhere only till the moment of special call for example as Abraham, who waited till God's call or lived somewhere till the moment of banishment. Homeliness, staying too long, living (or land, family and his father's house from biblical narrative) - all of these belong to the impurity order. There are many parables and stories in the José Saramago's creativity which describe this tragic dimension of the human being condition. It is not only dilemma about man, who became such a loner without right place for live nor outside neither inside, it shows also that every place which constitutes human being existence is a place as every rootedness - contaminated in the irreversible way.

The Essay 'Stockholm's experience: making room for rooting' institutes a wide aspect concern about issue connected with metropolitan city experience, hospitality and rooting. The Author confirms, that Stockholm is a unique metropolitan city founded on upturned order, where aspects of city corporeality turns into a great machinery, full of conscious mechanisms. From the first volume she tried to describe Stockholm using only one word, and at the beginning it was 'reserved', but later she found others as 'well organized' or 'distinct'. The Rareness of this city shows that each word is like mirror, which makes an accurate perspective of whole city structure. Author confirms, that using these words it is possible to make a view about this great Scandinavian metropolitan city. The Second these shows that also using this words, it is possible to make a reflection about rooting and hospitality on three separated areas: cultural, urban, political. So far, meditation has considered on the people, who live in Stockholm. Author has convinced, that Stockholm citizen's attitude is favorable, when we talk about rooting or domestication. Stockholm's people way of life has seduced and magnetized into the city in very strongly sense. As the final result Stockholm experience making an impression for tourist or stranger, that this metropolitan has a one rule - each citizen presents these, that city is a state of mind and Stockholm also is the state of strangers' mind. This specific construction attracts strangers, tourists seduces and builds a vision - the metropolitan city which has its own order, which is located in English phrase - the city of whole consuming thought. Author describes Stockholm experience using word 'absorbing', this is a key word, which explains possibility of rooting and hospitality in this metropolitan city. Stockholm makes a place, which has not making strangers home-sickness, even nostalgic. On the contrary - citizen has made a space and room for better life and better place to live, but this is possible only through research which are connected with the rooting aspect. After one day of visiting Stockholm, author marks feelings, which are connected with this experience and gives such as these, that beyond facts such as that Stockholm is not her born place, her own place or place connected with her life start opportunity. It does not matter, because she thinks about this city as her home. Author confirms, that she is not a Swedish, but she percepts Stockholm as a place of her way back.
