Zarządzanie ryzykiem przyczynia się do podniesienia jakości i lepszego funkcjonowania organizacji. Proces identyfikowania pojawiających się ryzyk związanych z funkcjonowaniem jednostki odbywa się w sposób ciągły. System ten opiera się na opracowaniu, wdrożeniu i realizacji polityki zarządzania ryzykiem. Celem artykułu jest ukazanie modelu zarządzania ryzykiem, ogólnych zasad metodologii, identyfikacji i analizy ryzyka w organach administracji publicznej. W pierwszej części zaprezentowano istotę zarządzania ryzykiem i określono jej kluczowe elementy. W kolejnej części przedstawiono proces raportowania oraz oceny ujawnionych ryzyk. W ostatniej dokonano analizy pojawiających się ryzyk w organach administracji publicznej w odniesieniu do realizacji celu. Omówiono działania zaradcze i mechanizmy kontroli, które mogą przeciwdziałać przedmiotowemu ryzyku.

The risk management contributes to improving the quality and better functioning of the organization. The process of identifying appearing risks associated with the operation of the unit is carried out continuously. This system is based on the development, implementation and realization of Risk management policy. The aim of the article is to show a model of risk management, the general principles of the methodology, risk identification and analysis in the public sector. The first part presents the essence of risk management and identifies its key elements. The next section presents the process of reporting and assessment of the disclosed risks. In the last part the risk, which appears in public administration, associated with the implementation of the target was analyzed. The management policy and risk management which can prevent the subject risk were discussed. In the last part the risk, which appears in public administration, associated with the implementation of the target was analyzed.
