Artykuł ma na celu przybliżenie istoty coachingu oraz możliwości jego wykorzystania dla wsparcia rodziców samotnie realizujących proces wychowawczy dzieci. Samotni rodzice obarczeni są wieloma problemami, których gama jest rozległa i którym trudno jest podołać. Coaching ma szerokie zastosowanie zarówno w sferze biznesowej, jak i osobistej. Różnorodne jego odmiany pozwalają na wykorzystanie jego narzędzi dla pomocy osobom w rozwiązaniu konkretnych, indywidualnych problemów, tym samym mogą stanowić skuteczne wsparcie dla samotnych rodziców.

This article aims to bring the essence of coaching and the possibility of its use to support single parents pursuing educational process of children. Single parents are saddled with many problems whose range is extensive and where it is difficult to cope with. Coaching is widely used, both in business and personal. Various variations allow the use of its tools to help people solve specific, pro-individual problems, and thus can provide effective support for lone parents.
