The documentary novel as a discourse of the Russian-Polish mutual relations in dramatic collisions and commonness. The architectonics of the novel in the ratio of the fabulous mutual visits of the Russian authors and his Polish friends and the structure of the deep historic insight. The compositional structure is in the exchange of Polish and Russian episodes. The friendship of the Russian spouses as a pattern of obligatory relations on the confidential (private), interstate and national level.

International relations have always been a very complex and controversial phenomene affected by historical and political events, wchich influenced the forming of mutual prejudices, antipathy and stereotypes. The concept of national identity and nationalism began to shape relativetly late, in the XVI-XVII cebturies, and their advent was connected with national self-consiousness rise and political conditionnaly. This statement is either applicaple to the Polish-Russian relations, wchich not always were inflated with animosity and hatred. The author of the article considers the process of Russia and the Russians'negative image forming, defines the most significant events, and uniting and separating factors. In this context the two spheres of influence are meant: political-historical and cultural. In the author's opinion, nowadays the negative image of Russia and the Russians is fixed in mind of the Polish. It is very hard to overcome these prejudices, however there is such a possibility.

The subjects of the study are works of A. L. Pogodin devoted to the history of Poland, reflected perception of the Polish question by the Russian society. Studying of his polonistic heritage allows us to speak with more confidence about the statement of the Russian historical polonistic in the first quarter of the 20th century, considering that, this problem remains until today debatable and demands amendments. Pogodin’s works have been analyzed from the point of view of both the essence and evolution of the Polish question, as well as those significant changes that occurred not only in the field of historical science, studying the history of Poland, but also the visions of the Russian society on Poland. This study gave the chance to come closer to understanding the Pogodin’s information code in his historical works, which allowing to shake basement of the Russian historical tradition concerning the Polish history of the 19th century.

Article is devoted to the analysis of relations between Russia and the Polish in the 90ies of the 20th century. The author comes to the conclusion that it was not an easy time for formation of the relations between the countries on the foundation of the principles of partnership and democratic. Considering different geostrategic interests of both countries and the heavy historical heritage it’s hard to talk about harmony.

Статья посвящена реконструкции биографии подьячего, позже – дьяка Никифора (Микифора) Иванова сына Шипулина, который сделал первые решительные шаги в своей карьере видного приказного деятеля на русско-польских переговорах 1619 г., в первую очередь, его роли и заслугам на этих переговорах, той непростой дипломатической ситуации, в которой оказался молодой подьячий. Исследование базируется на документах архива Посольского приказа, а также материалах архивов Разрядного, Казенного, Поместного, Печатного приказов, Устюжской чети, и некоторых других приказов и монастырских архивов. Часть использованных документальных материалов не опубликована и хранится в фондах Российского государственного архива древних актов (РГАДА) в Москве и Российской национальной библиотеки (РНБ) в Санкт-Петербурге. Его имя фигурирует в классических справочниках по приказной бюрократии С.К. Богоявленского, С.Б. Веселовского и Н.Ф. Демидовой, однако отдельной работы, посвященной его персоне, до сих пор в историографии не было.

The article is devoted to the reconstruction of the biography of the podjachy, later – the djak Nikifor (Mikifor) Ivanovson Shipulin, who took the first decisive steps in his career as a prominent official at the Russian-Polish negotiations of 1619, first of all, his role and merits in these negotiations, the difficult diplomatic situation in which the young podjachy found himself. The research is based on documents from the archive of the Foreign prikaz, as well as materials from the archives of the Razrjad, Kazenny, Pomestny, Pechatny, and some other prikazes and monastic archives. Some of the documentary materials used have not been published and are stored in the collections of the Russian state archive of ancient acts (RGADA) in Moscow and the Russian national library (RNB) in Saint Petersburg. His name appears in the classic reference books on the prikaze`s bureaucracy of S. K. Bogoyavlensky, S. B. Veselovsky and N. F. Demidova, but there has not been a separate work dedicated to his person in historiography so far.

Artykuł jest poświęcony rekonstrukcji biografii poddjaczego, późniejszego - diaka Nikifora (Mikifora) Iwanowa syna Szipulina, który postawił pierwsze ważne kroki w swojej karierze znanego urzędnika przykazów, w trakcie pertraktacji rosyjsko-polskich w 1619 r. Przede wszystkim zaś praca traktuje o jego roli i zasługach na tych rozmowach, tej niełatwej akcji dyplomatycznej, w której się znalazł ten młody urzędnik. Opracowanie oparte jest na dokumentach z archiwum Poselskiego Przykazu, a także na materiałach z archiwum przykazów: Razrjadnego, Skarnowego, Pomiestnego, Drukarskiego, Ustinskoj czetii i kilku innych urzędów oraz archiwów klasztornych. Część wykorzystanych materiałów dokumentowych nie była opublikowana i jest przechowywana w zespołach Rosyjskiego Państwowego Archiwum Akt Starych w Moskwie i Rosyjskiej Bibliotece Narodowej w Petersburgu. Nazwisko bohatera pracy pojawia się w klasycznych pracach dotyczących biurokracji przykazowej S.K. Bogojawlenskiego, S. B. Weselowskogo i N.F. Demidowej jednak osobnej pracy poświęconej jego osobie nie ma w historiografii.
