The report presents the events of the 12th Summer School for Young Researchers on Adult Education (XII LSMA), held at the University of Zielona Gora. This annual occasion offers young academics an excellent opportunity to meet recognised authorities in the world of social sciences, as well as share their own experiences and achievements in the field of research and teaching work. In order to depart from the traditional formula of reporting, the authoress made an attempt to present the events that had taken place in Zielona Gora by employing Piotr Sztompka's seven perspectives of analyzing the society. They could serve as the 'sociological lenses' that provide reflection on the community of the School participants. This instrument made it possible to grasp the complexity of the XII LSMA community by highlighting its demographic diversity, the network of bonds linking the participants, along with the roles they assumed and played. The concept also enabled to identify the particular structure of the network, fuelled by participants' interactions, which were regulated by the culture of young scholars. Finally, it allowed to discern the social territory filled with the practices undertaken during the andragogic meetings, which changed the participants and shaped them before the next Summer School.
