EN
Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn's biography is an exemple of a fight with totalitarianism that was taken up the Russian writer in the times of communism and a description of the said writer's difficult fate. Unlike most biographies concerning Russian writers, the biography of Solzhenitsyn does not bear any signs of conformity. Having returned from emigration, he criticised the new order in Russia, pointed to its weaknesses and deviations. Solzhenitsyn's life can be divided into four periods. Apart from the first one, the writer's fate will be presented in the following way: from success to denial. He will undergo changes depending on his social status as well as on the attitude towards the writer who always stayed true to the anthropological concept and the ethical program.
