The study aimed to show the relationship between the assemblage of spiders that inhabit the meadow used extensively, covered by agri-environmental program, (pack of 3-extensive permanent grassland, the Rural Development Programme for 2007–2013), and the adjacent winter crops, wheat in 2008 and triticale in 2009. Observations were carried out in 2008–2009 in north-eastern Poland, in the town of Bartążek near Olsztyn (UTM ED 65). Spiders were caught by sweep neting. During the study indicated 977 individuals belonging to 12 families, 39 types and 49 species. On the extensive meadow caught two times more spiders than on the fields. Species composition and structure of assemblage of spiders grassland and cereals were more alike in a given year than the types of crops.
