The article is concerned with the stability of the tuning of historic organs which have their air system supplied, in terms of the positioning of the instrument itself, from an external environment. It addresses the question of the temperature changes in sacred buildings, which are an essential magnitude for the analysis. The analysis also touches on the mode of the construction used for the air system, since this construction has a fundamental influence on the constant change of pressure and air temperature in the air system. We have verified the entire analysis in situ under real conditions, also by means of an experiment regarding the analysis of tuning. The positioning of the air system, sucking in air which differs in temperature from the air where the instrument itself is positioned, does not have any destructive effect on the tuning of the historic organs and hence does not damage this tuning in any way.

Self regulation plays a crucial role in the stability of psychological processes. From the dynamical perspective self-regulation is manifested as the stabilization of psychological processes in the vicinity of equilibrium states - attractors of the system. Defects of self-regulation can be recast as defects of the structure of attractors. This article analyses low self-esteem and depression as defects of self-regulation, which are manifested as instability of positive states. Analysis of results revealed that low self-esteem is associated with instability of positive self relevant thought. High self esteem, in contrast, is associated with the stability of positive self-evaluation in self reflection and thus stability of attractor in positive self evaluation. A time series of over 20, monthly collected data, concerning depression in participants with bi-polar depression was analyzed with specific software to diagnose the attractor structure. The results have shown different configurations of attractors. Some individuals had the attractor in the area of low mood. In others two attractors co-exited: an attractor for positive mood and an attractor of the negative mood. Some others had no attractors, or could be characterized by the dynamics in which frequently visited states are unstable. Analysis of correlations revealed that individuals characterized by lack of stable attractors are more frequently hospitalized for depression and have higher suicidal tendencies. The results of both studies highlight the importance of self-regulation mechanisms for psychological well being.

The aim of the paper is to present the scale and dynamics of indebtedness related to incomes of all 17 counties in Silesian Voivodeship. On the basis of concentration ratio proposed by K. Kukula, the authors assess changes in incomes' and indebtedness' distribution. The period taken into consideration during the analysis spanned from 2004 to 2007. The authors indicated the usefulness of the concentration ratio for the assessment of indebtedness' stability.

The aim of this paper is to verify the impact of the market structure on financial stability in the banking sectors in Central and Eastern European countries, with particular emphasis on the change in the concentration and the share of foreign capital in the period 1999 – 2015. Using the methodology of panel regression, GMM estimator, we examine the implications of banks’ concentration on bank stability of a group of countries from Central and Eastern Europe. Because many empirical studies have examined the role of market concentration, we complement our results with findings on the market concentration-bank fragility trade-off. Employing a concentration ratio (CR5 and HHI) we find that CEE banks are more fragile within a concentrated environment. Our results also reveal that the persistence of risk is affected by the level of bank concentration and this effect is exacerbated mainly during downturns. Finally, the results of this research did not lead to any definite conclusions as to the role of foreign capital participation and rather indicate the impact of bank size and concentration on bank stability.

The evolution of the concepts «steadiness» and «economic safety of an enterprise» was considered in the article. It was suggested to consider the concept of “enterprise stability” in the light of economic safety of an enterprise. The interconnection between the categories “stability of an enterprise” and “economic safety of the state” was analyzed in the article, the importance of business entities for the state successful development is reflected. One of the main problems of belorussian legislation in the sphere of sustainable development of an enterprise was defined.

The article stressed the importance of resource saturation of the banking institutions, which largely depends on the ability of the banking system to function, its place and role in the process of economic transformation. Analyzed the nature of ratings and their importance in the activities of banks. It is proved that the use of objective, impartial ratings is the key to restoring confidence in the banking sector of Ukraine and to attract additional deposit resources. Reviewed national and international experience of the different rankings of bank deposits, the advantages and disadvantages of the main methods of rating. Proposed use of the scoring method and system of evaluation of image reliability rating of the bank.

Activity of socio-economic system is performed in the context of interrelated processes, which usually have variability. Determining the direction, criteria and results of development is possible if socio-economic system operates stably with deviations caused by chance reasons. Therefore, reducing the variability of the socio-economic system by increasing stability is the condition for its development. It is suggested to increase stability based on make decisions concerning social and economic components of socio-economic system applying system and logical approach, structural and functional approach, synthesis and analysis methods. Social component of socio-economic system stability lies in its ability to react adaptively to new social needs without changes of current level of economic balance. Economic component of socio-economic system stability consists in ability to improve or maintain current level of economic efficiency.
