Stalinova cesta k moci

100%
EN
The article is based exclusively on sources from that period and attempts to depict the political situation in the Soviet Union in the 1920s, i.e. after Lenin's death. On the one hand, it describes the gradual, well-plotted and well-implemented Stalin's tactics by which he achieved the leading position in the country and confirms the well-known fact that ideology, i.e. political platform, was of lesser importance as Stalin unscrupulously mixed up its principles. On the other hand, it documents that Stalin, although considered the least probable follower of Lenin, surpassed the others by the strength of his will for power and his organizational skills. The crucial factor for the result of the struggle for power between Bolshevik leaders was the gaining of power over the party machinery and the defence and enforcement of its central position in the country.
