This article presents three possible strategies for examining the qualifications of the managerial staff - the idiographic, nomotetic, and idiotetic approaches. Each of these strategies is linked with both limitations and errors caused by the researcher. An awareness of this may mark the start of methodological correctness for planned studies. Moreover, possible directions for exploration in connection with decisions regarding choice of the subject of research interest are signaled.
