Wzrastające przyzwolenie społeczne na łamanie normy moralnej, jaką jest nierozerwalność małżeństwa skłania do: zbadania tego, czym jest rozwód, prześledzenia statystyk rozwodowych i określenia następstw sytuacji rozwodowej. Badania psychologiczne potwierdzają, że sprzeniewierzenie się prawu Bożemu poprzez sankcjonowane przez prawo stanowione rozpadu rodziny niesie boleśnie przeżywane skutki. Dotyczy to rozwodzących się małżonków i ich dzieci. Znaczna ich liczba, ze względu na kilkadziesiąt tysięcy rozwodów dokonywanych rocznie wskazuje na poważny problem, tak indywidualny, jak i społeczny. Wierność Bogu i troska o człowieka skłania do podjęcia działań profilaktycznych uświadamiających negatywne następstwa rozwodów i mobilizujących do większej odpowiedzialności za złożone przyrzeczenie „nie opuszczę cię aż do śmierci”. Jest to zadanie małżonków i rodziców, katechetów i duszpasterzy, nauczycieli i wychowawców, doradców życia rodzinnego, przedstawicieli środków społecznego przekazu, polityków i prawników oraz wszystkich ludzi dobrej woli. Zamiast akceptowania podejmowanych prób rozwiązywania nierozwiązywalnego małżeństwa wskazane jest rozwiązywanie konfliktów, uświadamianie zła rozwodów i ich negatywnych skutków, formułowanie przestróg i konkretna pomoc małżonkom.

Increasing of social acceptance for violating moral norms, which is the indissolubility of marriage tends to explore what it is divorce, divorce statistics to trace and identify the consequences of a divorce situation. Psychological studies confirm that a betrayal of God's law by statutory law sanctioned by the breakdown of the family brings painfully effects. It applies to divorcing spouses and their children. A large number of them, because of the tens of thousands of divorces made annually indicates a serious problem, as an individual, as well as social. Faithfulness to God and care for human beings tend to take preventive measures relating to negative consequences of divorce and to mobilize to greater responsibility for promises "I will not leave you until death." It is the task of the spouses and parents, catechists and pastors, teachers and educators, counselors and families, representatives of the media, politicians and lawyers and all people of good will. Instead of accepting of divorces it is very important to indicate the possibility of the solution of the conflicts, evil of divorce and its negative effects, warnings and to formulate concrete help.

Die Erhöhung der gesellschaftlichen Akzeptanz für die Verletzung moralischer Norm, die die Unauflöslichkeit der Ehe ist, verursacht die Erfordernis nicht nur das Wesen der Ehe zu erforschen, aber auch die Scheidungsstatistiken und die Folgen einer Scheidungssituation. Psychologische Studien bestätigen, dass ein Verrat an Gottes Gesetz, gesetzlich durch den Zusammenbruch der Familie sanktioniert, schmerzhafte Effekte bringt. Dies gilt für die Scheidung der Ehepartner und ihre Kinder. Eine große Zahl von ihnen, wegen der Zehntausende von Scheidungen, zeigt ein schwerwiegendes Problem, nicht nur individuell, aber auch sozial. Die Treue für Gott und für die Menschen neigt dazu, präventive Maßnahmen zu ergreifen und die grosse Mobilisierung für eine Verantwortlichkeit für Versprechung "ich werde dich nicht verlassen, bis der Tod" zu unternehmen. Das ist die Aufgabe der Eheleute und Eltern, Katecheten und Pastoren, Lehrer und Erzieher, Berater, Familienleben, Vertreter der Medien, Politiker und Anwälte und alle Menschen des guten Willens. Statt die Versuche der Scheidungen zu akzeptieren, müssen wir das Bewusstsein des Übels der Scheidung und ihre negativen Auswirkungen wahrnehmen und die konkrete Hilfe vorbereiten.
