The paper considers examples of eroticism in the biography and heritage of F.M. Dostoevsky. The author of the publication turns to well-known and new studies, makes novel comparisons through analysis of facts and myths. This paper does not provide the final answer, but rather proposes new questions, the answer to which will depend on the methodology of further research. The personality of the writer appears as ambiguous and contradictory, which is reflected in his polyphonic literary works. In addition, the author has become an attribute of the postmodern worldview, which decreases the clarity of understanding.

В статье рассмотрены примеры эротизма в биографии и творчестве Ф.М. Достоевского. Автор публикации обращается к известным и новым исследованиям, производит нетипичные сопоставления через анализ фактов и мифов. Данная публикация не является окончательным ответом, а, скорее, ставит новые вопросы, ответ на которые будет зависеть от методологии дальнейших исследований. Личность писателя предстает неоднозначной, противоречивой, что отражено и в полифоническом творчестве. К тому же, автор стал атрибутом постмодернистской картины мира, что удаляет от однозначности понимания.
