W ocenie stopnia zaawansowania starości demograficznej wykorzystuje się wiele miar. Pytanie, na ile ich przestrzenna analiza prowadzi do podobnych wniosków. W rozważaniach wykorzystano różne wskaźniki starości i wyniki badań prowadzonych dla lat 1991-2011 według województw. Dodatkowo zbadano, czy grupy województw odznaczające się podobnym poziomem wartości miary starości demograficznej tworzyły zwarte przestrzennie obszary (posiadały co najmniej jedną wspólną granicę), czy część Polski zachodniej charakteryzowała się mniejszym stopniem zaawansowania tego procesu aniżeli jej część wschodnia oraz czy ten przestrzenny obraz ulegał zmianie w czasie.

In the assessment of the degree of the old age a lot of measures are being exploited. Question, to what extent spatial analysis is leading them to similar conclusions. In deliberations indicators of the old age were used. Kept dissertations were for years 1991-2011 according to provinces. Additionally they examined, whether groups of provinces being characterized by a similar level of the value of the measure of the old age formed clenched spatially areas; whether the part of western Poland was characterized by a lower degree of the progress of this process than her eastern part as well as whether this spatial image underwent the change over time.

W ocenie stopnia zaawansowania starości demograficznej wykorzystuje się wiele miar. Na ile zatem ich wybór różnicuje ocenę tego zjawiska w ujęciu przestrzennym. Rozważania prowadzone były dla lat 1991-2011 według województw przy wykorzystaniu wskaźnika i indeksu starości oraz przeciętnego dalszego trwania życia oraz miary asymetrii rozkładu. Zbadano również, na ile województwa odznaczające się podobnym poziomem wartości danej miary, tworzą zwarte przestrzennie obszary oraz czy część Polski zachodniej charakteryzuje się mniejszym stopniem zaawansowania tego procesu, aniżeli jej część wschodnia.

In the assessment of the degree of the progress of the demographic old age a lot of measures are being exploited. To what extent and so their choice is diversifying the evaluation of this occurrence in the spatial perspective. Dissertations are being kept for 1991-2011 years, according to provinces at using the indicator and the index of the old age and the average of life and measures of the asymmetry of the disintegration. We have examined also, to what extent provinces being characterized by a similar level of the measure given to the value form clenched spatially areas and whether part of western Poland to be characterized oneself with lower degree of the progress of this process than her eastern part.
